The Mesner Farm
in Völs am Schlern
The Mesner Farm in „Völs am Schlern“ offers to you and your family complete relaxation. Our newly built wooden house lies at the feet of the „Schlern“ mountain and is an excellent starting point for hiking and winter sports on the “Seiser Alm”.
Our WOODEN FARMHOUSE has its own well for drinking water and is located in an idyllic position at a height of 950 meters, right in the vicinity of the romantic small church of St. Konstantin. A church that invites to rest and meditate.
Embedded in blossoming meadows and far from road noises, our farm offers the probably most breathtaking view on the mountains of the “Schlern” area. The panoramic view reaches as far as the “Eisacktal”. From this view point you can admire the “Seiser Alm” as well as the village called “Seis”. A paradise for excursions and sports activities is waiting for you in the well known “Schlern area”.
Be enchanted by untouched nature, fresh air and lovely people. Just feel at home with us and let us pamper you

Our History
The MESNER FARM was first mentioned in the year 1200. The ownership of the farm was linked to the duties of the Sexton at the church of St. Konstantin. Since the local expression for “Sexton” is “Mesner” the farm is called” MESNERHOF” The Mair family owns the farm since 1725.
2005 the youngest son, ANDREAS MAIR, inherited the farm.
The trained carpenter made use of his love for his trade and his wife creating a small paradise.
2007/2008 the old farm house was demolished and rebuilt, maintaining a similar character.
When doing this, Andreas paid special attention, that only natural materials were used.
In 2021/2022, two beautiful suites were added in the mansard. High-quality woods from our own forests were used. The results are called Treasure Box and Alpine-Relax.
